本文以注册 OpenAI API 账号为例，介绍如何充值让 API 支持 ChatGPT 4，通过客户端解锁 ChatGPT 特性。
背景
今天（2024-02-18）早上登录 ChatGPT 和 OpenAI API 均提示账号被删除或禁用。

}在微信群也发现好多人的 ChatGPT 的号也被封了，据说是 OpenAI 每发一个大的功能（比如这次是Sora）会封一波。
于是乎，来到 OpenAI 的 帮助中心 看看能否找回账号里的钱。
点击右下角的聊天对话框，把页面报错信息抛给他，返回了如下信息。
We're sorry you are unable to create a new account!
This can be due to a number of issues (the list is not exhaustive):
➡️ Your country is currently not on the list of supported countries here (not including Italy due to the temporary government ban)
➡️ Your phone number is on a traditional mobile plan
➡️ You are trying to create account using VPN
➡️ You've previously requested deletion of your account. As of now you won't be able to create a new account with the same email address.
➡️ Your phone number is already associated with 3 accounts. You can use your number for phone verification for no more than 3 unique OpenAI accounts.很显然，命中了第一条。

另外有一个值得注意的是，OpenAI API 也不要使用非可用区的区域请求，我之前以为能访问就行（实际上 API 在国内也能请求）
于是重新注册一个新的账号，不要幻想找回原来的账号，耽误时间。

1. 准备注册 OpenAI 账号 的访问环境
使用腾讯云硅谷的主机，直接无法注册，提示如下(OpenAI's services are not available in your country.)，更加印证了这一点。
找到美国云厂商的云主机 Linode ，访问 OpenAI.com 没问题。
开搞。
2. 准备邮箱
之前的邮箱 Outlook，邮件地址不能用，但可以生成多个别名。
从截图中的入口进去，添加几个别名，一次多注册几个，如果后面封控了一个，还有另一个账号备用。
注意，有别名有上限，具体详见社区问题："We limit how frequently you can add aliases to your account. Please try again later."
3. 准备代收的短信平台
sms-activate，挺好用的，关键支持支付宝充值。
冲的是人民币，默认会转成卢布，冲个最少金额2美金足够了。
4. 开始注册 ChatGPT 账号
访问 OpenAI，开始注册。
验证邮箱。
5. 验证国外手机验证码
注册基本成功，如果想生成 OpenAI API，需要验证手机号码。
先在 sms-activate 购买手机号码接受服务，左侧搜索 openai，为了保险，我选择了 美国(物理)账号，购买后会分配一个美国手机号码。
将手机号码填入到 OpenAI 注册页面的手机号码验证流程中。
不用刷新 sms-activate 的页面，一会儿就能看到手机验证码，将验证码填入到 OpenAI 的注册页面中。
注册成功。👋
6. ChatGPT 充值
注册成功后，默认送 5美元，但是无法使用 GPT4 的能力，充值可以让你更强。
How do I access the GPT-4 API?
If you're a Pay-As-You-Go customer and you've made a successful payment of $1 or more, you'll be able to access the GPT-4 API (8k).

支付成功后，API 可以搞起 ChatGPT 4 了。
7. ChatGPT 客户端
有了 API，可以使用 ChatGPT-Next-Web 客户端，用起来更舒服。
